The Soil DNA/RNA Extraction Mini Kit is designed for rapid and efficient isolation of high-quality genomic DNA and total RNA from various soil samples, including compost, sediment, manure, and topsoil. Incorporating bead beating for thorough sample homogenization and proprietary inhibitor removal technology, the kit effectively removes humic substances, heavy metals, and other PCR inhibitors common in soil that can compromise downstream applications. Silica membrane spin columns or specialized inhibitor removal columns ensure purified nucleic acids free of contaminants, suitable for sensitive molecular analyses.
