The Stool/Fecal DNA/RNA Extraction Mini Kit provides a reliable and efficient method for isolating high-quality genomic DNA and total RNA from fresh or frozen stool and fecal samples. Designed to overcome challenges posed by complex biological matrices and PCR inhibitors such as humic acids and bile salts present in stool, the kit utilizes mechanical disruption via bead beating and optimized chemical lysis buffers combined with silica membrane spin columns or magnetic bead technology. This results in nucleic acids of superior purity and yield, suitable for comprehensive downstream applications including microbial community analysis, infectious disease diagnostics, metagenomics, and host genetic studies.
